Contacting the d-basics Service Desk

You can reach the d-basics service desk by phone at +31 76 523 90 40 (standard call charges apply). Support is available in Dutch, English, French and German on Dutch working days, between 08:30 and 17:00 CET.

Online support software

Online support provides a quick and secure way for the d-basics Service Desk to assist customers. During a support session, our team can connect to your computer and, if necessary, take temporary control to check and adjust d-basics settings (only allow this when asked for by the d-basics servicedesk)

The online support software establishes a secure connection to your computer, and you maintain full control over all actions performed during the support session.

Remote Collector

With d-basics Collector v2, a new option called Remote Collector has been introduced. This feature allows the d-basics Service Desk to establish a secure connection to the Collector software installed in client environments. Remote Collector simplifies handling service requests and accelerates software development tasks by enabling direct access without requiring client-side intervention.

Capabilities

Remote Collector provides the following capabilities:

  • Securely connect to the d-basics Collector software installed in the client’s environment
  • Adjust and manage Collector settings remotely
  • Execute key actions such as import, validation, and export
  • View processing details and logs for troubleshooting and optimization
  • Test configuration changes and software improvements
Advantages

Remote Collector offers the following benefits:

  • d-basics Service Desk can connect to Collector without requiring client assistance
  • The client can continue using the computer while Remote Collector is active
  • No need to provide test data to the Service Desk
  • Service requests are processed faster and more efficiently
Client Approval Required

A remote connection to d-basics Collector can only be established after the client approves a connection request.

The request is sent by email and can be approved by clicking an approval link (login to d-basics portal required).

Approvals are time-limited. Once expired, a new request must be approved before reconnecting.
